Greetings, Lena:

Here’s where we are:

• I’ve attached and sent a copy of the GRR PROGRAM OUTLINE. It contains, pretty much, the flow of the show, including most of my script.

• I am also ready to send much of the audio. However, I will need Marcus to answer some questions and see if he can help with some tasks, please.

- First question: How do I send audio and where do I send it? I’m fairly certain Clarityflow will not accept a half-gig WAV file, or even Ifill's 150MB.

- Second question: Should I send Marcus WAV files, for either voices or music, or should I just send MP3s? In other words, do MP3s have enough resolution as original sources for his production purposes?

- 3rd: I would like to see if Marcus has any musical ideas for X100 vocals.

By that, I mean I feel I need to put some unobtrusive music under Sherrilyn Ifill’s five-part commentary. I have an idea it should be something like a long, taut, monotone string. However, I wonder if he has any ideas and is prepared to execute them, given where we are.

• As I write this, it’s after 5 am. I’m very tired, and I just executed my vocals…but they sound tired and lack energy and clarity. I will do another cut  today.

• The last thing Marcus may get is the main program; Healy’s Soul City Q&A. I still have a little editing to do on it. The good news is that, when he gets it, it will, essentially be an engine, not engine parts.

• I got back my X100 vocals from Fiverr. They’re amazing. He made some small errors, though, and is correcting them. I may have all of them by the time

• I think a big part of what Marcus will be doing is making this all sound like one thing, in terms of the mix and levels.

• These are my suggested credits, including yours and Marcus’s. (I still have to run this by Morgan State.)

What are your thoughts? Let me know if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, or complaints.
